Three Sisters

Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters was written in 1900 and first performed in 1901 at the Moscow Art Theatre. The play explores the hopes and losses of the Prozorov sisters as they search for meaning in the modern world.  Although Chekhov's original script reflects the decay of the privileged class in turn of the century Russia, the desire to find meaning and the human struggle with defeit are themes that carry on in every age. The Lone Tree Theatre Project's adaptation will reflect those struggles in a simplified production combining contemporary language, music, and movement presented with minimal sets and props.

Stay tuned for dates, times and location!
